Hempstead is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Hempstead is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across New York's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Clean and well stocked. I've never had to wait on an extended line when shopping here. The parking can be a little tricky as long as everyone is careful.

This my go to supermarket they are spacious inside fresh fruits and vegetables as well as meat and poultry. They have a separate fish/seafood section which also provides fresh products. They offer coupons and discounts which is convenient.

Very good customer service but this has to be one of the most expensive supermarket place to shop anywhere in Nassau county. I live right next door but only shop there for when I run out or something .

This type of supermarket is good for some people, but not my kind of spot; only went for steaks cause I was right there and my friend got great steaks from there awhile ago. I don't know what happened, but steaks weren't great and were pricey...I only got them cause it was my sister's birthday. I'll stick with my ShopRite; much better meat selection, prices and parking!
